How I Found Pupford
The first time I heard about Pupford was in a Zak George Youtube video, a few weeks before Finley came home. Pupford had partnered with him to create a free 30-day training course to help teach your pups all the basics! I immediately downloaded the free app and was so excited about training my soon to to puppy! (Highly recommend downloading this free training app if you have a new pup by the way!)
I then signed up for Pupford’s email list and almost immediately started receiving valuable information that has helped me as the dogs grow! To this day, they are one of the only brands whose emails I ALWAYS open. I’ll attach a screenshot of just a few of the emails I have received from them over the years that Finn has been home and you will see why! The tips are always relevant, quick, and most importantly, I always learn something!

I absolutely love this because it lets you know the purpose of each very quickly and it also shows me that Pupford cares about a dog’s wellbeing as a whole! I’m going to be reviewing the treats & chews they sent to us, but you can find a larger variety on their website!

Salmon Jerky - You know I love any single ingredient treat and Pupford really hit the mark with these! Wild-Caught Salmon is the only ingredient in these and the pups can tell! They go crazy for all Pupford’s jerky but especially Salmon! Salmon is a great source of Omegas for your pups! I wish I liked my fish oil vitamins as much as they love these!
Chicken Jerky - Just like the salmon jerky, the only ingredient in these are USDA Hormone Free, Chemical Free, and Additive-Free Chicken Breast! These jerky’s have been a really great high reward treat for us to use for recall training! Finley will come anytime, as long as he knows we have jerky lol.

Freeze Dried Salmon - I absolutely love that on each bag they include some training tips for you to implement! Letting (especially new) dog owners know that repeating commands can do harm to your training process is really important! Like the jerky, the Freeze Dried Salmon is solely made of Salmon as well as a natural antioxidant! They are also all less than 1 calorie per treat, which is really important to me as Finley has lost a lot of weight this year by cutting out excess fatty treats! These treats have been perfect for our training sessions as he thinks of them as high-reward but secretly they aren’t bad for him!
Freeze Dried Beef Liver - Both Sadie and Finley’s favorite of the training treats is the freeze dried beef liver! Sadie has been going to a training dog school recently and I have been sending her with these! She used to have such a problem taking treats while training/ getting food motivated. The trainers have reported that she is accepting these just as she does at home and absolutely loving them! When Sadie the picky eater likes something, you know it’s good!

Beef Tendon Chew - Sometimes I find it difficult to find quality chews for the dogs that don’t have any additives! So these Pupford chews have been the best addition! They are only made of Beef Achilles tendon which Finley and Sadie seem to really enjoy! I have been rewarding these as a special treat, using them for enrichment games like hide-and-seek, and adding to their frozen enrichment treats! As I write this I have the bag in front of me and Finn is starrrrrring me down, hoping to get the last one.
Bully Stick Chew 6” - I have found my new go to bully stick. If you haven’t discovered bully sticks, they are a great chew to add in your lineup! They take a bit for them to chew and can also be used for the same enrichment I listed above. The only ingredient, beef pizzle (PENIS ).

Why I Love Pupford
Brands often have this big brand mission but you can never really see any effort towards that mission. Pupford is different. With just one trip to their website, you can see how clear it is that they really make an effort to ensure their goal for the company is exceeded. They provide so many resources from a training podcast and their free training app, to training and desensitization sounds you can use to help socialize your pup! They seriously are the only brand I would ever suggest you sign up for emails for, besides my own of course ;) But really, I love them because I can tell they have been there to support every different training stage I’ve encountered and you will be able to feel that too!
