What We Pack For Vacation: Dog Edition

✨ What We Pack for a Winter Vacation: Dog Edition ✨

What can I say, I’m an over-packer! But I want to make sure that I have everything on hand the dogs could need! and this trip I STILL forgot things (towels and @notpot CBD)

Below you can find every product featured in our reel! If it’s on Amazon, you can find it here! <—- Amazon list

If it’s not on Amazon, I will include the link below! ok, LET’S PACK!

Hyper Pet Frisbees: Our favorite go to frisbees!

Non-Destructible Toys: Toys to help keep them busy, especially if you need to leave the hotel room! I only bring non destructible ones that they can’t choke on if we’re out and about!

Water Bottle & Bowl: My dad bought us this handy water bottle from Costco! A bowl unscrews from the bottom so you can have both in one place! Luckily I found it on Amazon for you guys!

High Reward Treats: It’s always important to keep some high reward treats on hand for recall in new places/ distracting environments! For this trip we brought @Pupford ‘s training treats (use code ‘FINLEYSADIE’ for 10% off), @spotandtango ‘s Unkibble and @traderjoes Chicken strips

Dental Care Bones: I think the pups think PlaqueOff Dental Care Bones are their dessert each night lol. You can use code "‘FINLEYANDSADIE10’ for 10% off your order! (US residents only)

@stellaandchewys Raw Coated Kibble: On trips we only bring Kibble along, as raw is hard to bring. This doesn’t upset their stomachs because they normally only get 1/4 raw.

50 ft. Leashes & 20 ft. Leashes: Great for walks/hikes and hanging out outside

Light up collars: for any night walks or sitting outside by the fire

Paw Care: Musher’s Secret paw wax to protect from the snow and @bohoandbark paw balm to help any dryness!

Probiotic Powder: @thenativepet ‘s probiotic powder helps to keep their poops solid. Finn tends to have an upset tummy often

Car Harnesses: We recently invested in harnesses for the car! While these are only crash tested to an extent, it makes me feel so much better knowing they are safer than running all over the car!

Waist Leashes: My preferred way of taking the dogs on a walk! If your pup is a good loose leash walker, It’s so much easier to go hands free!

Fanny Pack: I alwayssss have treats on me in my fanny pack! It’s so easy to keep on you at all times and doesn’t get in the way.

Training Tabs: I love keeping these on the pups while they are off leash in case we need to quickly grab them! We got ours from CSJCreations on Etsy!

Snuffle Mat: Another great way to provide enrichment when on vacation! I love @pupford ‘s because it’s small and easy to pack!

Winter Coats: Aussies are double coated, and ours never seem to be cold, even in the snow. But jackets are cute and great to have, just in case!

Wet Wipes: IYKYK!! Quite often I have to wipe Finn’s butt. But these are also great to have on hand for wiping paws and tummy’s after coming back inside from an adventure!

Food Bowls: Most dog friendly places we have stayed have given us bowls to use! However I like to bring some just in case!

Booties: Will protect the paws from snow or rough terrain. We ended up not using them on this trip. I think they’re more for the photos than realistic use in our life.

Bandanas: Always gotta bring a few of our fav danas! @hygeehunds , @bohoandbark , and @sadieandmoose are some of our favs

Brush: our favorite brush is weirdly from @ikea ! It’s great for basic brushing and the dogs like the way it feels on them the most! I added it to our Amazon list for you guys!

Camera: Of course I gotta bring my camera to capture all the moments! This is a great starter camera for anyone just starting out, like me!

So I guesss I’m an over packer! What about you?🧳✈️🚗
