The Podcasts I Listen To Constantly

If I’m home alone, chances are I’m listening to a Podcast. Well actually if you asked Cameron, he’d probably say I’m always listening to a podcast when we’re together too.

Podcasts are such great entertainment throughout the day. You can get things done while still paying attention to what you’re listening to and without actually needing to watch something! So I’m basically listening to a podcast all day erry day. When I wake up in the morning, when I clean the house, when I take the dogs to the park, while I work, in the car, while I get ready, and even to fall asleep. Safe to say I’m obsessed!

So I guess you could say I have listened to my fair share of podcasts! And I’d like to share all my favorites with you!

These aren’t in order from least favorite to favorite but instead separated into categories! Sooo let’s get into it

When I Feel Like Hanging Out With Friends…

Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley and Tanya Rad

You may recognize Becca Tilley from Chris Souls’ season on The Bachelor. Or you may recognize Tanya Rad from On Air With Ryan Seacrest in the morning! I’ve been listening to their podcast for years now and it has bettered my life in so many ways! While it originally started out as a Grey’s Anatomy podcast, it has turned into much more. Although you will still catch them talking about Grey’s Anatomy when it’s on, they mostly talk pop culture and whatever is going on in their lives! Tanya and Becca are so fun to listen to and truly make it feel like I’m just at lunch with my friends. Their producers Mark and Easton also pitch in with funny and inspiring commentary in every episode. The girl’s have created a Facebook group with the ultimate best group of girls! I’ve gotten to know so many great girls and it’s been so rewarding being a part of such an amazing community. This group is actually the main reason I started The Dog Mom Club ! I wanted to cultivate the same community that Scrubbing In has given me with my followers. Highly suggest starting from the beginning so you can get to know them best. Tanya joins about two episodes in and then eventually became permanent!!

Ladygang

The Ladygang is very similar to Scrubbing In, in that they have both cultivated such great communities! The girls of Ladygang, Becca Tobin (from Glee!), Jac Vanek, and Keltie Knight are a little more rough around the edges than the Scrubbing In girls. They talk all things being a millenial woman and everything that comes with it. Confidence, boys, sex, and much more! Both Scrubbing In and Ladygang help to teach you to be the best version of yourself and that you’re not alone in your struggles!

What We Said with Chelsey and Jaci

What We Said is a podcast I have only started this year but have become obsessed with! I’ve now caught up on all episodes! Chelsey and Jaci are two 20 something girls living in LA with their husbands and dogs. They have such funny episodes where their fans share crazy things and they react! But they also never fail to teach me something. One of their main projects is ‘Balanced Boss’ which teaches girls how to show up for themselves, become the successful boss that they want to be, while also taking care of their physical and mental health. This project translates to a lot of the podcast! It has quickly become one of my favorites! Also their Instagram page is beyond aesthetic.

Zane and Heath Unfiltered

If you’re a Youtube fan, you probably know of Zane and Heath. They are a part of the shall not be named squad lol. However I still LOVE Zane and Heath. They are hilarious and the podcast always gets me laughing to myself. Heath’s girlfriend Mariah as well as Youtuber, Matt King, are also a part of the show and the main stars in my opinion! They talk about pop culture as well as what is going on in their own lives.

FAMtastic Four

FAMtastic Four is another podcast featuring Youtubers but this one is much different! Jess (Jessfam on Youtube) is one of my favorite people to watch, so I was so excited when she came out with a podcast! Jess is still in her 20’s and has 7 kids! That’s right, 7! It gets crazier though! The podcast features her husband (baby daddy #3), her first baby daddy, and her first baby daddy’s current wife. They are the ultimate co-parents and as a child of divorce, it makes me so happy to see them able to make that happen. They talk all things parenting and coparenting but also so much more about relationships and life in general!

Don’t Blame Me

Don’t Blame Me is one of the very first podcasts I started listening to and I still tune in almost every week! It is hosted by Youtuber Meghan Rienks, and her friend Melissa. This is your typical call in advice podcast and is great to listen do while you’re doing other things! The topics people call in about range from their boyfriends cheating to advice on meeting the parents.

H3 Podcast with Ethan and Hila Klein

Don’t even get me started on my obsession with H3. I discovered them when Trisha Paytas first went on their show and have watched ever since. Their show together, Frenemies was my favorite thing ever and I am so sad it is over. I still keep up with every H3 podcast on YouTube and it’s one of my favorites. I love how long the episodes are because I can do a lot of other things while still listening.

When I Feel Like Learning Something…

Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard

Armchair Expert is the podcast that got me into podcasts! I’m sure you have heard of it because it is one of the most popular in the world! Dax has been my favorite since he was on Parenthood and I love his wife Kristen Bell possibly even more. Dax hosts the podcast with their friend Monica Padman who I have come to love SO much! Together they interview the most incredible guests, I’m talkin people like Obama, Prince Harry, Ashton Kutcher, Shawn Mendes and so many more! I have learned so much through this podcast and the incredible guests they have on! But not only is there Armchair Expert, they also have several spin-off podcasts!

Monica and Jess Love Boys

Monica and Jess Love Boys features Monica Padman and one of her and Dax’s friends, Jess. Jess and Monica have both struggled with love and relationships their entire life. Jess is a bit of a promiscuous gay man, while on the other hand Monica has a problem with putting herself out there. Each episode they speak with a different relationship professional or psychologist who help them work through their issues as well as give them fun challenges to help them through the process! It is hilarious, and yet so deep and thoughtful at the same time!

Shattered Glass

Shattered Glass is the latest Armchair Expert spin-off! It once again features Monica Padman as well as Kristen Bell. In each episode they speak with a different woman who has does amazing things to “shatter the glass ceiling” for women. The episode with Oprah taught me so many things! It’s important for us as women to listen to other women who are making drastic moves for womankind so we can be inspired to do so as well!

Nuture vs. Nurture

Nuture vs. Nurture

Nurture vs. Nurture is a play on the psychological phenomenon of nature vs. nurture. In Each episode Dr. Wendy Mogel sits down with parents and discusses a problem they are currently having. It is so interesting to listen in on a therapy session and so vulnerable for the people involved. While I don’t yet have kids, I feel like I have learned so much about parenting by listening to their struggles and the way Wendy helps them to overcome them!

Behind The Feed With Josie Sanders

Behind The Feed is hosted by Influencer, Josie Sanders. Josie is a creative genius and an amazing photographer! In the podcast she shares tips on photography as well as being a content creator! I have learned so much about Instagram and how to make money on Instagram through this podcast!

Dying For Sex

Dying For Sex is one of my favorite things I’ve ever listened to. It’s a limited series so you can binge it all in a few days or spread it out for longer. The podcast is the true story of a woman who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and decides to explore her sexually adventurous side. The story is told by the woman’s best friend and she does an amazing job. I laughed and I cried and was left with a warm feeling. Highly recommend!

When I Feel Like Hearing About Serial Killers…

The First Degree

The First Degree is a classic true crime podcast with a comedy twist. It features Jac Vanek from The LadyGang, as well as two other co hosts. In each episode they tell the story of a murder and all the details in between. Don’t ask me why a fake scary movie will leave me traumatized for years yet I can hear about real murders all day. No idea why.

When I Feel Like Listening To People From The Bachelor…

The Viall Files with Nick Viall

You may recognize Nick from Andi’s season of the Bachelorette, and Kaitlyn’s… and several seasons of paradise. His podcast is probably my favorite of all “Bachelor” podcasts because it’s so much more! There is one episode of a Bachelor recap per week while the show is on! There is also one episode a week where people call in and ask advice about their relationships. This is probably my favorite episode of the week because Nick is known for his very straight to the point advice. He’s also had on some really great guests and probably all your Bachelor favs on!

The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast

Almost famous was the first Bachelor recap podcast I started listening too! Ben was the Bachelor and you probably know Ashley I for being emotional, although I love her for so much more than that! They give great recaps as well have on all your favorites from the franchise. Now this podcast is probably my favorite to listen to at night while I fall asleep!

Chatty Broads with Bekah and Jess

Chatty Broads comes in a close tie with Viall Files as my favorite. Bekah and Jess provide the most hilarious recaps but they also do episodes on so much more if you’re not into Bach! They are both moms who are extremely honest with their lives, sex, motherhood, mental health, racism, and so much more! I could also include this is the “When I Wanna Learn Something” because of how much I learn!

HELP! I Suck At Dating with Dean and Jared

If you’re a Bachelor fan, you most likely know about Dean and Jared. Dean is the heartthrob of all heartthrobs and Jared is married to Ashley I from The Almost Famous Podcast. When the podcast first started, they were both single and feeling hopeless in dating and now they are in a committed relationship and married. They talk about the Bachelor a bit but the main theme is dating. They have on dating experts every episode and talk about interesting topics! Since the podcast is with IHeartMedia, they have the same producers as The Scrubbing In podcast! I really love the producers and they serve as extra funny co hosts with some insight! Highly recommend if you’re into the psychology of dating and learning more from dating experts!

I could probably do a part two of this I listen to so many podcasts! But I’ll give you these to listen to for now! They can be such a great form of entertainment that allows you to listen to the value of what people are saying instead of just focusing on what you’re watching. I hope you guys enjoy and happy listening!

Maggie xx
